"Floating island" is a French restaurant designed by C + architects for Lanba Earth Art Festival. It is located in Xiannv mountain, Wulong District, Chongqing. The building itself is part of the exhibition as an installation. Gilles stassart, the restaurant's chef, is good at combining food with social games to explore relationships between people. 靠近道路一側的空間是等候、休閑區域，由于高差的原因，從外面看進去，猶如一個布景舞臺，身處餐廳室內的客人與路過的行人分別承擔了演出者和欣賞者的角色，并由此產生出有趣的視覺互動。

The space near the road side is the waiting and leisure area. Due to the height difference, from the outside, it looks like a set stage. The guests in the dining room and the passers-by take on the roles of performers and appreciators respectively, which produces interesting visual interaction.

懸挑出7米的用餐區，是一個角落無柱、三面玻璃幕墻圍合而成的純凈空間，遠處如水墨畫一樣的連續水平風景一覽無余。當山中起霧時，建筑與自然之間的界限逐漸消隱，可以為置身云中的就餐者帶來特別的感受。

The 7-meter dining area is a pure space surrounded by three glass curtain walls and no columns in the corner. You can have a panoramic view of the continuous horizontal landscape like ink painting in the distance. When the fog rises in the mountains, the boundary between architecture and nature gradually disappears, which can bring special feelings to diners in the clouds.
